New U and W radiant tube program

With the introduction of the long life, FeCrAl alloys Kanthal APM and Kanthal APMT, Sandvik offers new possibilities to increase furnace efficiency and productivity.

A new website for Kanthal heating technology products and services was launched on May 19, 2010.

With the recently announced transition of Kanthal from a Sandvik company to a Sandvik brand name, the new website reflects the new Kanthal profile as Sandvik's prioritized brand for heating-related products and services.

Kanthal changes from Sandvik company to Sandvik brand

Kanthal, a world leader in the areas of industrial heating and ceramic and metallic resistance materials, is no longer a Sandvik company operating under its own name, effective May 18, 2010. Instead, Kanthal is a prioritized brand within the Sandvik Group.
