MRL Industries, Inc. changes its name to Sandvik Thermal Process, Inc.

The Californian-based company MRL Industries Inc., a world-leading company in the areas of semiconductor and solar industry-related products, has changed its name to Sandvik Thermal Process Inc.

MRL was acquired by Sandvik in 1999 but has until now been operating under its own name. Sandvik Thermal Process is now taking the next step in this development, making it even clearer that the company and its products are a part of Sandvik. MRL will still be used as a product trademark for parts of Sandvik's semiconductor and solar industry-related heating products.

For customers the change is marginal although the customer contacts can now be found at Sandviks Material Technology's representatives in 130 countries.
