Kanthal® - endorsed brand: “Part of Sandvik Group”

Kanthal®, Sandvik's brand for heating technology products and services and a world leader in its business segment, is now an endorsed brand. The Kanthal business was fully incorporated into the Sandvik Group in 1997 and is regarded as one of the group's most valuable brands.

• We want our customers to know that the Kanthal® brand is a world leader within the heating technology segment. There is great growth potential for the brand both geographically and within new application areas, says Nicklas Nilsson, Vice President Sandvik Materials Technology.
• By making it an endorsed brand within the Sandvik Group we continue to build on our strong position and at the same time obtain increased leverage by being part of and globally integrated within Sandvik, Nicklas Nilsson continues.
• Until now, the relationship between Kanthal® and Sandvik has been communicated by using both logos. From now on we will use the Kanthal® logo together with the endorsement "Part of Sandvik Group" when communicating and promoting the brand. This will both clarify the relationship and strengthen the Kanthal® brand further, says Minna Rodling, Brand Manager Sandvik Group.
