Kanthal® Super heating elements come in seven grades, each designed for specific applications and atmospheres. These MoSi₂ elements offer exceptional performance in high-temperature environments up to 1,850°C.

Kanthal® alloys vs. Nikrothal® alloys

Using Kanthal FeCrAl alloys instead of NiCr alloys results in less amount of material and also a longer heating element life.

Superthal® heating modules

Prefabricated heating modules consisting of vacuum-formed ceramic fibre with an integral Kanthal® Super molybdenum disilicide heating element for up to 1750°C (3180°F) element temperature.

Spray wire

Kanthal offers thermal spray wire in a variety of alloys, including FeCrAl, NiCr, NiAl, and CuNi. Ideal for high-temperature oxidation protection and industrial coatings.

Nikrothal® TE nickel-chromium alloy

Nikrothal® TE is a cost-effective nickel-chromium alloy ideal for tubular element applications. It offers higher resistivity and significant savings compared to Nikrothal® 80.

List of FeCrAl alloys

Kanthal offers a wide range of iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloys in wire and ribbon forms. These alloys provide excellent resistance to oxidation and high temperatures, ideal for various industrial heating applications.
